Short version: your documents stay on your computer. We never receive them.

What happens to a file you open

Nothing leaves the tab. Every tool on this site reads your file with JavaScript running on your own machine, edits it in memory, and hands the result back to your downloads folder. There is no upload step, so there is nothing for us to store, log or delete.

What we do collect

Page views, and nothing tied to you. No cookies are set for tracking. One value is stored in your browser — a flag recording that you have seen the opening animation — and it never leaves your device.

When that changes

Accounts, AI chat and OCR will need a server, because those cannot run in a browser. When we launch them they will be clearly separated from the free tools, and this page will say exactly what is sent, where it is processed and how long it is kept. Until then, the tools here cannot send your file anywhere even if we wanted them to.
